Size Overrated Women's Empowerment Sold Out Event!

March 9, 2019 was a day to definiteyly remember! Size Overrated Women's Empowerment held its 2nd Annual event at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. The theme for the year was "Focus on You," hosted by radio show host,entrepreneur, and youth minister TL Chisholm, along with co-host, professor, VIP Director of New Day Associates, and contributing writer of Size Overrated Magazine Vonda Kline.

We opened up the show with our Women's Recognition Awards where we honored women from all over the US who are doing amazing things in their community and beyond!

We had live entertainment by DJ Bobby D, Divas of Funk and Soul and guest appearance by Romonta & Friends

We can't forget about our wonderful sponsors! Avenue Blue Wine Bar & Lounge was our Official Sponsor for the event, and the fashion show sponsors were Curvaceous Closet along with Virginia School of Hair and Design.

Our powerful speakers include Frances White who talked about stress of the African america woman, Tearanie Parker schooled us on finances, "What our parents didn't teach us," and our keynote message by Saadia White who talked about focusing on you!
