Bridget Wilson is a trailblazing plus-size model and the visionary CEO of Wilson Plus Talent and Consulting. Born and raised in the small town of Whiteville, North Carolina, Bridget knew from the age of five that she was destined to model. What began as a childhood dream evolved into a purpose driven career that would later transform the industry she longed to be part of.

Bridget entered the plus fashion industry with passion and determination, spending more than fifteen years carving out space for herself in an industry that repeatedly told her she did not belong. As a size 24 model with hips and a visible stomach, she was often rejected by mainstream agencies and told she did not fit the industry’s narrow and limiting standards. Despite the rise of plus size fashion brands embracing more body diversity, there were still very few agencies willing to represent models who looked like Bridget.

Rather than allowing rejection to define her worth or limit her future, Bridget allowed it to fuel her purpose.

Driven by her own experiences and a deep desire to create real change, Bridget founded Wilson Plus Talent and Consulting in November 2021. The agency was created to address the lack of representation for plus size and disabled talent, while also providing access to affordable tools, education, and resources for individuals from low income backgrounds who are often shut out of creative industries.

Today, Wilson Plus Talent and Consulting is a fully inclusive agency representing individuals ages five and up, including talent with disabilities. The agency specializes in developing talent across fashion, film, theater, and literature, with a clear mission to uplift, empower, and advocate for those who are frequently overlooked.

Under Bridget’s leadership, Wilson Plus Talent and Consulting has grown into more than just an agency. It is a powerful movement dedicated to redefining beauty standards, challenging industry norms, and promoting fairness and equity across creative spaces. Bridget’s work continues to open doors, shift narratives, and create opportunities for talent that deserves to be seen, respected, and celebrated.

Her journey stands as a reminder that representation is not a trend, it is a necessity, and real change happens when those who were once excluded build tables of their own.
